CRAFT FAIRS and BOUTIQUES

Totes By Clydesdale is enjoying participating in live craft fairs and boutiques and meeting customers face-to-face again, now that life is returning to "normal".  We participated in 13 events in 2023 (a new record).

The Villages Cribari Center, 5000 Cribari Lane, San Jose, CA 95135

Sponsored by The Villages Arts & Crafts Association, the Holiday Fair presents over 30 artists and crafters who will be showing and selling their handmade items; artist demonstrations; bake sale; and free popcorn. Proceeds support The Villages Medical Association and various local charitable organizations.  At the entrance, you will be given a list of vendors that shows their locations.

Open only to residents and invited guests.  If any of my friends would like an invitation, please let me know.

Sacred Heart Church, 13716 Saratoga Ave, Saratoga, CA 95070

The Holly Days Artisan Faire has over 70 local artisans and features handmade holiday and year-round gifts, crafts, jewelry, food, and more. The Faire is hosted by the Sacred Heart Women’s Club and also includes Cookies & Photo with Santa on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30, and The Artisan Café serving lunch and snacks. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024  9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Lynbrook High School, 1280 Johnson Ave, San Jose, CA 95129

This is the 45th annual Craft Faire, sponsored by the Lynbrook Instrumental Music Boosters, whose primary responsibility is to financially support Lynbrook's award winning music program, including the Orchestra, Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, and Color Guard. It is one of the largest in the West Valley and the perfect place to find a gift for young and old alike; featuring handcrafted items from over 100 vendors. Enjoy hot food from food trucks, great music, bake sale, artwork  and raffles. This event is extra special for me because my children were in the Lynbrook band 1993 - 1997 and 1997 - 2001. Open to the public with Free Admission 

Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov 24, 2024  10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  History Club of Los Gatos, 123 Los Gatos Boulevard, Los Gatos, CA 95030

The History Club of Los Gatos presents its 2nd Annual Holiday Boutique at its historic clubhouse. Last year’s event was a success and a lot of fun! This year there will be more vendors with a variety of products to sell. Proceeds support the History Club of Los Gatos and its Charitable Foundation. Totes By Clydesdale will participate only on Sunday. Open to the public with Free Admission

Loma Prieta Gym & Community Center, 23800 Summit Road, Los Gatos, CA 95033                                                       

This is the 31st Annual Loma Prieta Holiday Craft Faire, which is a fund-raiser for the C.T. English Middle School's Home & School Club. There’s a little bit of everything here! Unique, thoughtful treasures handcrafted by over 40 California artisans for your friends and family, including ceramics, clothing, food, furniture, gems and minerals, glass, jewelry, handknits, leather, local honey and beeswax products, metal, paintings, photographs, soaps and lotions, sculptures, textiles, toys and woodwork. Winter Wonderland family photo booth will be on stage this year from 11am – 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.  There will be a photographer to take photos of children or families (donations requested for CT English Home & School Club). Enjoy great food and purchase raffle tickets for a Christmas tree.  Several Christmas tree farms are nearby. We are in Booth 42, along the back wall, right-hand corner, under the clock.  Open to the public with Free Admission.      

DIRECTIONS:  Google online directions, Waze, and Google Maps are WRONG.  If you are going South on CA 17, exit on Summit Road and TURN RIGHT to cross over CA 17.  Go approximately 2 miles, and the Community Center and Middle School will be on your right, with a big sign.

Villa Montalvo Arts Center, 15400 Montalvo Rd, Saratoga, CA 95070 [not participating 2024]

The Yuletide Boutique features local vendors who will have holiday art and decorations, collectibles, photography, clothing, crafts, and specialty gourmet food items for purchase. In addition, handmade items created by members of the Montalvo Service Group will be sold in the charming Sewing Boutique and wonderful collectibles will be available in the Vintage Treasures Shop. Open to the public with Free Admission

Silver Creek Women's Club Holiday Market, in the Clubhouse of the Silver Creek Valley Country Club, 5460 Country Club Pkwy, San Jose, CA 95138 

The SCWC Holiday market is an annual tradition that started in 2001. The women shared their own hand-made creations and invited other makers. The event expanded in recent years to include over 40 artisans, local and from across the state. Almost all of our vendors are women and many have been showcasing their handmade products here year after year. The vendors are proud to share their tried-and-true favorites or renewed, reinvented creative expressions of their personality.  Open to the public with Free Admission

This is the 10th annual Holiday Boutique, held on Small Business Saturday in Santa Cruz County. Around 25 artisans provide lots of unique, handcrafted, and affordable gift ideas!  Jewelry, pottery, soaps, scarves, hats, paper crafts, home decor, and more!  Totes By Clydesdale's booth is near the entrance to the Education Building.  Open to the public with Free Admission.

This is the 34th Annual Fremont High School Featherettes Holiday Craft Fair, and is a fund-raiser for the Featherettes dance team.  Handcrafted items from over 60 vendors will be available.  Totes By Clydesdale's booth is #39, second aisle from the left and towards the front.  Food will be available for purchase. Open to the public with Free admission

Sienna Ranch Craft Fair, 3232 Deer Hill Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549 

Sienna Ranch is excited to be hosting its 3rd community craft fair. Their beautiful outdoor space is a perfect, peaceful spot to show off crafters' creations and art. The public is invited to celebrate our maker community with this family friendly event  with over 25 local crafters / artists and activities for the kids including animals to observe and some to pet!  Food trucks will provide food for purchase.  Senna Ranch is an outdoor education organization that connects Bay Area youth to nature through outdoor programs, geared primarily toward participants ages 4-14 (pre-K through 9th grade). Totes By Clydesdale will be in Space 11 in the shade.  This is our first time participating in this event. 

 Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, 2024  Noon to 4:30 p.m.

Shops at Santa Cruz Symphony League Home & Garden Tour,  Congregational Church, 4951 Soquel Drive, Aptos, CA

Five beautiful homes open their doors only for the Symphony.  View spectacular gardens and outdoor entertainment areas in full bloom!  Tickets for the Home & Garden tour are $60 per person, but admission is FREE to to the Shops Boutique in the Church courtyard.

Saturday, June 8, 2024  10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saratoga Blossom Festival, Heritage Orchard (near Library) and Saratoga Civic Center, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue 

Come enjoy antique cars, live music, art, crafts, gourmet food trucks, historical characters, local organizations, and more!  For the kids there will be children's activity tables and a petting zoo.  Open to the public with Free admission.  Totes By Clydesdale will be in Booth WH9 near the Warner-Hutton House. Please stop by. This historic event originated in 1900 as a celebration of the upcoming fruit harvest. The event ran until 1941, and was brought back in 2013 by the Saratoga Historical Foundation, and was held each year until 2020 when it was cancelled for two years due to the pandemic. The event is produced by the Saratoga Historical Foundation and sponsored by the City of Saratoga.

La Selva Beach Books & Brews Summer Fair, Clubhouse (314 Estrella Ave) Lawn (Florido Ave) 

Over 50 unique art and craft vendors will offer their handcrafted goods. The Friends of the La Selva Beach Library will hold a Used Book Sale and will host a Prize Raffle of vendor donated prizes. The La Selva Beach Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will hold a fundraising Bake Sale. There will be live music outdoors throughout the day, local microbrew beer sales, and delicious foods from local food trucks on the outdoor lawn. Sponsored by the La Selva Beach Improvement Association and the Friends of the La Selva Library. Totes By Clydesdale will be in booth 25 on the lawn close to Florido Ave.  Open to the public with Free admission.

Montevalle Artisan Faire, "The Mill" Community Hall, 552 Bean Creek Rd, Scotts Valley, CA 95066

This artisan fairs is sponsored by the Montevalle Activities group, and this year for the first time, admission is not limited to Montevalle residents. Probably close to 20 vendors selling varied hand-made items, including dried floral arrangements; tote bags, aprons, and other sewn items; Christmas ornaments; beaded jewelry; knitted hats and other items; photographs; home-made jam and desserts; plant cuttings; and cups, plates, and other items from the Pottery Club of the Montevalle community. Open to the public with Free admission.

Sunday, October 6, 2024  11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

FabMo Artisans Market, Los Altos Community Center,                 97 Hillview Ave, Los Altos, CA 94022

This is FabMo's 13th annual Artisans Market. The 37 participating artisans come to the monthly In-Person-Shopping at FabMo to find fabulous designer fabrics, wallpaper, tile, and more, and fashion them into unique and useful items. At least 30% of the materials used in each item offered at the Artisans Market must be obtained from FabMo. These eco-friendly creations are testament to the joys of creativity and practical repurposing. You can learn about the artisans and their wares at www.fabmo.org/artisans-market.
